ISPO Course Description

The development of plantations in Indonesia, including oil palm, is aimed at increasing people’s income, income and foreign exchange, providing employment, increasing value added productivity and competitiveness, meeting the consumption needs and raw materials for domestic industry, encouraging regional development and optimizing natural resource management. sustainably.

Palm oil development carried out in Indonesia has basically applied the principles of sustainable development in accordance with applicable regulations. In order to meet the demands of sustainable development, the Indonesian government has prepared a sustainable palm oil development system or the Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil System (ISPO).

Because ISPO is based on applicable laws and regulations, ISPO is mandatory that it must be implemented for all plantation business actors in Indonesia. Thus, ISPO has a strong legal system and is proof of the compliance of plantation business actors to conduct business in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia and is proof of the commitment of plantation entrepreneurs to implement sustainable palm oil development.
